Pediatric Physical Therapy
Our team of pediatric physical therapists comes from diverse backgrounds, with extensive expertise working with children of all age groups, from birth to 18 years old. The majority of the children we serve at our clinic are between 0-5 years old.
We are committed to providing the highest level of care and attention to your child's unique physical needs, helping them achieve their goals and reach their fullest potential. Our personalized, play-based therapy approach ensures that each child receives the best support tailored to their individual needs.
What We Specialize In
We focus primarily on children whom have complex diagnoses or developmental delays.

Including but not limited to:

-
Torticollis: A condition causing the neck muscles to shorten, leading to a tilted head and limited range of motion in the neck.

-
Developmental Delays: We see many children with delays in crawling, standing, walking, and other developmental milestones. Our therapy helps children catch up in these critical areas.

-
Neurological Disorders: Conditions such as cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, and other disorders affecting motor function.

-
Neurodevelopmental Disorders: Including Autism, where children may experience delays in motor skills, communication, and social interaction.

-
Genetic and Chromosomal Disorders: Conditions like Down syndrome, Rett syndrome, Marfan syndrome, and other genetic syndromes impacting physical development.

-
Coordination Disorders: Children who experience challenges with hand-eye coordination, balance, and overall motor control, often leading to difficulties in performing everyday tasks.

Our team is committed to helping each child achieve their personal developmental goals, improve their physical capabilities, and enhance their overall quality of life.

How PTs Helps Your Child
Pediatric physical therapy helps children build the strength, balance, coordination, and mobility needed to reach important developmental milestones.

At Vida Kids Therapy, our physical therapists use advanced pediatric equipment including the LiteGait gait training system, Galileo vibration plate, Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), bracing, Theratogs, and electrical stimulation to support improved posture, movement patterns, and functional mobility.

Through engaging, play-based therapy, we help children develop the skills needed to explore their environment, participate in daily activities, and gain greater independence.
