What is Intensive Camp?

Intensive therapy is a structured and focused approach to treatment that involves a concentrated period of therapy sessions delivered over a short timeframe. Typically scheduled over several consecutive days, this type of therapy provides children with greater consistency and intensity, leading to more significant and rapid progress. Intensive therapy is especially beneficial for children facing developmental delays or other challenges, allowing them to make substantial gains in a shorter period.

By offering frequent and concentrated sessions, intensive therapy targets specific developmental milestones and skills. This focused approach helps children advance to the next level of development, gaining new skills that they can build upon. Once these skills are established, children can continue to refine and maintain them with regular therapy schedules of 1-2 times per week, supported by increased confidence and independence in their ability to navigate various developmental tasks.
