What is the "Tunes & Tumbles" class?
The "Tunes & Tumbles" class is a unique, fun, and interactive session led by our skilled pediatric physical therapists and certified music therapists. This class combines movement, music, and play to help children improve their physical strength, coordination, motor planning, and social-emotional development.

Who can join the "Tunes & Tumbles" class?
Anyone is welcome to join! However to get the BEST results out of the classes I would recommend taking a class that is at your child's current gross motor level i.e. pre-crawler class - those that are rolling/ sitting or newly crawling. etc.

What can my child expect in the class?
Children will participate in movement followed with music that encourages learning. For exampel hcildren may learn a song that they hear when they practice walking or may learn head shoulder knees and toes to encourage standing. They learn other movements as well clapping, stomping, shaking. It is to build body awareness. Each session is tailored to the child’s abilities, ensuring a fun and engaging environment.

Is the class open to children with special needs?
Yes! The "Tunes & Tumbles" class is designed to be inclusive. Our therapists are trained to support children with a variety of developmental delays, sensory processing issues, and physical challenges, providing individualized attention to ensure every child can participate and benefit.

Do I need to stay with my child during the class?
For children under 3 years old, a parent or caregiver is required to stay in the room during the class. For children over 3, it is optional, but parents are always welcome to stay and participate if desired.

How long is each class?
Each "Tunes & Tumbles" session lasts for 45 minutes to 1 hour. This allows ample time for music activities, movement exercises, and fun, while also ensuring that the class stays engaging and manageable for young children.

What should my child wear to class?
We recommend comfortable clothing that allows for movement, such as activewear. Bare feet or socks with non-slip soles are best to allow for safe and unrestricted movement.
